Synergy exhibit at CIPD West of England Conference

Nicky and Gemma attended the CIPD West of England conference on Friday where we chatted to HR professionals about internal communications and engaging employees. The conference itself was great with speakers including Phil Richardson from Thoughtcrew and Chris How from ChangeMaker. Key learning points from the event:
- Think carefully how nature works so smoothly when looking at product development
- Giving employees real responsibility can make a difference in generating pride in the organisation

Fab examples of this in practice from both speakers…

If you’re intrigued by the above, ask Gemma or Nicky all about it!

Thank you Innocent!

It was smiles all round today when we were hand delivered veg pots for lunch for the whole Synergy team! Mel entered the Innocent ‘impress your boss’ promo by completing her details on their website. Next thing, lunch arrives for everyone!

Even the chap that delivered them ‘lived the brand’ and was very friendly indeed.

Thank you Innocent – we love them!

Asking customers for their views

Most of our projects involve research of some kind to find out what employees or customers think about a company or certain subject. We’re always interested to really get stuck into what people think as it helps the development of our creative. However, companies don’t always hear what they want to hear!

We loved the article in the Sunday Times this weekend about Tourism chiefs in Suffolk who asked the public to vote on the county’s most iconic image in an online poll. The article read as below. Enjoy!

“Hopes that visitors to the Choose Suffolk’ website would pick beauty spots such as Flatford Mill or Snape Maltings were dashed when the clear winner was Dani Filth, the self styled crypt crawling front man of the notorious death-metal band Cradle of Filth. Filth, who lives in the area, recorded a total of 13,025 votes in the initial selection, more than six times the votes recorded for the next most popular icon – but has now been removed from the final 20.
