Synergy celebrates its fifth anniversary
11.10.11 Synergy Creative celebrates its fifth birthday with a hat trick of success and cake of course!
Synergy Creative has had plenty to celebrate as it marks its fifth anniversary with expansion into new office space, and news that it has been shortlisted for a clutch of awards.
The agency was established in 2006 by Directors Giles Hicks, Nicky Clark and Gemma McGrattan. The trios’ ambition was to set up a business that combined their passion for creativity with exceptional levels of service. They also recognised that clients wanted their agencies to have a thorough understanding of their businesses and the markets in which they operate.
The formula has proved a success and the agency has built a loyal client base which has grown steadily over the past five years. The Synergy team now stands at 11 people and further recruitment is underway. In order to accommodate their growth, Synergy is in the process of doubling its office space at their existing offices in Bristol.
The agency has also been recognised for the success of a number of recent projects and has been shortlisted for six awards including: The Institute of Internal Communications Regional Awards for their creative vision and values communications with Bracknell Forest Homes and a new employee magazine for North Bristol NHS Trust. These two projects have also been shortlisted for CIPR Pride Awards as has the team’s UK wide launch of the world’s first talking set top box, Smart Talk for The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Finally, their client Jelf has been shortlisted for a Corporate Communications Award for the recent rebranding Synergy created for the consultancy group.
Giles Hicks, Director, says: “It’s been fantastic to have so much to celebrate in the past couple of months. Our fifth anniversary was a significant milestone for us. We’ve been faced with growing the agency at a tough time for businesses everywhere. It has been a combination of creativity and regular communications that has proved to be the key to delivering successful and cost effective marketing campaigns and employee communications programmes. We’re extremely proud of the fact that we’ve grown the agency while maintaining our commitment to high levels of creativity, supported by a real understanding of our client’s businesses and backed by exceptional client service.
“We’ve got a very talented and committed team on board and it’s been great that all their hard work has been recognised through the various awards we’ve been shortlisted for. Now, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the final results to be announced!” ENDS
