We created a clearer brand that shows how membership works
Client snapshot
The IED is the UK’s only professional body which represents people working in engineering design. Members work in a diverse range of industries, spanning product design, architecture, mechanical, automotive and aircraft design, design education, IT and computing.
The brief
To raise awareness of the IED, increase its membership, re-position this professional body and educate members and prospective members on exactly what it offers.
How we tackled it
We carried out research with members, non-members and lapsed members. These findings helped us create a new brand, literature suite, website design and members magazine design.
The outcome
After a successful brand roll-out, we are now working with the IED on the development of a communications strategy, looking at the member journey and how we can create a better member experience.
