We examined what makes these school days different

Bristol Grammar School (BGS) is an independent, co-educational day school in the Bristol area.
The brief
BGS wanted to refresh its prospectus suite and accompanying literature to create an exciting look and feel that allows it to stand out from the other schools in the region in a highly competitive market.
How we tackled it
First we reviewed the existing literature, then explained our ideas for the new approach - from content and copy to photography, design and production. Our aim was to produce a visual style and tone that was inspiring and engaging, while retaining the school’s tradition. We agreed a new strapline – ‘Life Changing’ – an idea which runs through the copy style, layout and imagery. We also spoke to existing pupils as well as school leavers to create case studies that demonstrated the ‘Life Changing’ opportunities provided by BGS.
The outcome
The literature produced appeals to both students and parents and is immediately engaging and inviting. The carefully crafted content and imagery gives a true representation of life at BGS.
