Engaging Experian employees with new interactive magazine

What we did

Experian told us they wanted a more inspiring and engaging multi-channel approach to their internal communications. Synergy took inspiration from their new Heart of Experian culture programme to create a magazine that was totally different from the norm. It was to be a showcase for the great work that Experian's people did, creating pride and helping employees understand more about the company.

Fun and engaging, the employee magazine has a scrapbook design style with short stories. We've boosted engagement by incorporating interactivity with hyperlinks and use of video.

Creating impact

Stories from the Heart has won Best Newsletter at the IoIC Central Region Awards 2014.

It is now one of Experian's core internal communications channels. It proved so popular that employees wanted to take it home to show family and friends – so now, along with the interactive pdf, printed copies are also available.

Experian has seen a 20% increase in the number of employees who say that internal communications are engaging.
