June
10th-14th: Social Media Week, Bristol

The global conference hosted in over 25 cities worldwide, is coming back to Bristol. A week of events, talks and seminars across the city which are designed to upskill, inform, explore ideas and opportunities and further the conversation on key issues in media, marketing and technology.

 

18th: Internal Communications Conference, London, One Great George Street

A one-day conference with in-depth audience insights and 38 brands showcasing their work in engaging and strategic communications. Learn about ways to involve remote workers, exploit emerging channels and gain buy-in from senior leaders and managers on a range of internal comms subjects. 

 

19th: Be Inspired, London, The Brewery

A key part of the retail calendar, Be Inspired brings you a programme that includes more inspirational keynotes, personal career stories and interactive sessions to build personal skills and tackle the big issues impacting women in the workplace.

 

20th: Heads Up: an employer branding breakfast, London, The Fable

Join us for our second Heads Up event of 2019, taking place in London on Thursday 20th June! We’ll be hosting a breakfast to explore all things employer brand, with insights from World Employer Branding Day in Lisbon as well as some case studies of employer brand done right.

 

21st: Gender Parity in Engineering, Birmingham, Conference and Events Centre

Join the Institution of Engineering and Technology to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day and explore how best to achieve gender equality in the STEM workplace. Hear from specialists in diversity and inclusion about their work to create a more balanced engineering sector through panel discussions and interactive workshops.

 

25th: Unlocking Performance Through Employee Engagement, Bristol, UWE

A one-off collaboration between Engage for Success, UWE Bristol and their partners, assembling a fantastic range of industry experts and practitioners to show you how to engage employees so that they’re motivated to perform to their potential and therefore increase productivity and turnover. 

 

July
10th: Engaging a remote workforce event: insight and best practice from IoIC and CIPR, Bristol, Synergy HQ

On July 10th, Synergy will be hosting the IoIC and the CIPR for an event all about engaging remote workforces. Jenni Field will present on her recent research around this important topic and we’ll delve into how staff who aren’t desk-based or using a laptop can be engaged and involved. 

 

16th: You’re Beautiful Wonkiness: Keynote Vision with Steve Chapman, Bristol, Origin Workspace

Bristol Media will be joined by Steve Chapman, artist, philosopher, TEDx speaker, and all-round supporter of the weird and wonky, for this keynote on creativity and the human condition.

 

30th: Engaging a remote workforce webinar, online

Join us on July 30th for a webinar on the remote working. We’ll have two guest speakers giving their angle on the issue and will discuss best practice around this area, looking at how internal communicators can best reach offline and remote workers. To register your interest, get in touch

12th: Driving Change Conference, London, Museum of London Docklands
