Synergy to scale the Welsh Three Peaks for Julian Trust

Ten members of the Synergy team are taking on the Welsh Three Peaks on 11th May!

Blister plasters, chunky socks and boots at the ready! Walking through the night, and reaching dizzying heights of over 1,000 metres per mountain, the intrepid team will cover nearly 170 miles between them, all to raise money for Julian Trust, our charity partner for 2019. Bear Grylls eat your heart out.

Julian Trust is a Bristol-based charity whose team works tirelessly to provide an emergency night shelter for people sleeping on the streets of the city, with the hope of helping people in their first steps away from homelessness. With 18 beds available 5 days a week, and a staff wholly made up of volunteers, the trust relies on donations of money, food, clothes and people’s time.

To raise money for Julian Trust, ten of Synergy’s best will be battling the elements (fingers crossed for sun!) in the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, made up of three of the highest and most iconic mountains in Wales. Oh, and it doesn’t end there – they’ll be attempting to complete the three ascents within 24 hours!

The next few months will see all sorts of fundraising efforts hit the Synergy office, from bake sales, to raffles, pub quizzes, yoga and even a wine-tasting night – don’t mind if we do! We’ll all be digging deep for this excellent cause and hope to raise a whopping £7,500.

If you’d like to sponsor our ten superstars, or get involved with your own fundraising efforts, head over to the fundraising page or get in touch! All donations are hugely appreciated and will help the lives of people across our great city.
